And the Coach who did not vote Tim Tebow First Team All SEC is.....

Steve Spurrier. The former Gator and current South Carolina coach admitted at SEC media day he is the coach who did not vote for Tebow. However, he says he is not the one who filled out the ballot. South Carolina Director of football operations, Jamie Speronis is the one who did. Here's what Spurrier said:

Wescrewed up pretty badly. I'm embarrassed about it. I feel badly about it. I haven't done that in 17 years (referring to filling out the preseason All Conference ballot). I usually look it over and I sign off on it. I did a poor job of looking over it this year.

Spurrier says he apologized to Tebow and has amended his ballot, making Tebow a unanimous all conference selection. He also went on to say Tebow and former Gator Heisman trophy winning QB DannyWuerfell are the best players in college football history.

In my opinion, this situation has been totally blown out of proportion. Yes Tebow is the best quarterback in the SEC, but Snead is a damn good one too. It's the PRESEASON all conference team. No one cares about it. Tebow was voted first team all SEC anyway. Who cares if it's unanimous. It's not like it's the post season one.
